The Inspiration Behind Andrewman Ministries.
Mike, who was inspired by God and his superhero and grandson, Andrew Petrea, founded Andrewman Ministries on March 24, 2008. Andrew loves superheroes and his grandfather, Mike, is amazed at how much of a superhero Andrew has been throughout his ongoing illness.
On September 16, 2006, at the age of 3, Andrew Petrea was diagnosed with an Ependymoma brain tumor. After his diagnosis Andrew had 2 major brain surgeries, 2 different kinds of radiation, and chemotherapy. In August of 2007, Andrew had a MRI that showed that the tumor had come back and spread in his brain as well as his spine. He has since been on several different kinds of chemotherapy and additional radiation to his spine.
Since his diagnosis, Andrew has played a season of T-Ball as well as gone through first grade, and will start second grade in the fall. Throughout his illness Andrew has shown that he is unwilling to let his condition bring him down and keep him from being as normal as possible. It is because of this that Andrew is our superhero and an inspiration to us all.

News.......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well we were blessed with three families this month, God keeps us busy, amen. We had one family we helped with electric bill, one family from Haiti at Medical City with a Wal-Mart gift card and some clothes, we also heard about another family at our church, that lives in Emory TX with a three year old boy named Dakari. He got scratched in the eye by a cat, to make a long story short he needed eye surgery or he would go blind , they needed help getting the deductible we were able to help with the rest of what they needed. When the ck was delivered the mom , dad , dads brother and brothers wife all accepted Jesus as their personal savior , Amen. That is what its all about thank you Jesus, couldn't do it with out your support and prayers. God Bless.
To date we have been able to help over 31 families and received over 30,000 in donations to help with bills, gas, medicines, and other needs. Please continue to support the ministry so that we can continue to help other families! We are very excited that the Lord has blessed us with so many donations so that we are able to help people. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
Don't forget to come and see us at the new flea market on 751 on Saturdays. If you would like to donate something for the flea market, please call or email me to make arrangements for it to be picked up.
